Dance Instructor

Ravenswood School for Girls is a Uniting Church Prep to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney’s North Shore. Ravenswood offers both the HSC and the IB Diploma Programme as well as the PYP in the Junior School. We are seeking a passionate dance teacher to join our school Co-Curricular Dance Program on a casual basis. Ravenswood is proud of its growing Co-Curricular Dance Program that offers classes for students in Prep to Year 12 in a variety of dance styles.

The successful candidate will :

• Be available to teach Monday afternoons from 3.00-7.00pm in 2026
• Be highly organised with strong communication skills
• Have qualifications and training in Acrobatic Arts or similar
• Have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience teaching Acro Dance
• Have a passion for positively building the schools’ dance program
• Be willing to take classes with a range of abilities and the possibility of working in a team-teaching capacity for larger class sizes.
• Have ability to teach other styles of dance if needed, particularly Junior School Jazz
• Hold up to date CPR and First Aid training
• Be willing to or have completed a safe dance training course recently.

These classes are held on Monday afternoons and there is the potential for this role to expand over time.
