Job descriptionDeveloping network plans, ecompassing the communication of date, voice, text and image. in the support of project objectives and the planning of all aspects of infrastructure necessary to ensure provision of network services to meet business requirements Develop network designs and documentation, focused primarily on telephony and data infrastructure, to support business requirements for connectivity, capacity, interfacing, ssecurity, resilience, recovery and access Identify and investigate issues and incidents using an analytical problem-solving approach to maintain and support a large and complex ICT environment Coordinate with operational teams and contribute to the successful installation and decomission of IT hardware, systems and networks
Our client is looking for a Network Designer to produce complex active and passive design spefications, toplogies and detailed design documentation of networks and infrastructure to contribute to project delivery within the department.
Responsibilities of the Network Designer include but are not limited to :
- Provide appropriate information on incident reviews and statistical reports within the environment which can be consumed by leaders, management, and othe departmental staff
- Contribute to the preparation of written and verbal advice, including briefing papers and technical artefacts for the consideration of management and clients in relation to IT services
The successful Network Designer will have experience :
