Delivery Driver

Jaba Transport Delivers Groceries to homes and businesses on behalf of one of the major Supermarkets in Central West and Far west NSW.

Duties include and not limited to :

• Transportation of Goods

Safely and efficiently drive a delivery vehicle to transport goods or packages from our distribution centre to customer locations.

Follow designated routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely deliveries.

Loading and Unloading

Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.

Verify the accuracy of deliveries and obtain signatures or delivery confirmations as required.

Vehicle Maintenance

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.

Report any vehicle maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Customer Service

Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including friendly interactions with customers upon delivery.

Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner, escalating issues as needed.

Documentation :

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs, mileage, and fuel records.

Complete required paperwork and documentation neatly and accurately.

Adherence to Safety Standards

Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company safety policies and procedures.

Ensure safe and responsible driving practices at all times.

Problem Solving

Handle any delivery issues or delays efficiently and professionally, communicating with customers and dispatch as necessary to resolve problems.

Flexibility

Adapt to changes in delivery schedules or routes as required to meet customer needs.

Requirements

Valid full Australian driver's license

Clean Police record.

Good driving history report

Positive Skill Assessment Outcome as Delivery Driver

Proven experience as a delivery driver for minimum one-year full time

Competent English

Pay : $60,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
