Primary School Chinese Teacher

Situated within moments of the CBD, International Grammar School (IGS) is Sydney's unique independent, coeducational, secular school offering quality teaching from Preschool to Year 12. Our unique multilingual language program immerses students in a second language every day.

The successful applicant will be employed on a permanent full-time basis in the Primary School commencing Term 1 2026.

We are seeking an outstanding candidate who will be collaborative, show initiative, be fluent in Chinese and have a strong understanding of Chinese culture. They will also have a demonstrated record in inspiring a passion for Chinese language and culture in Primary School learners. A thorough knowledge of the NSW K-10 Modern Language syllabus, and well-developed skills in using ICT for authentic and meaningful learning experiences, will be highly advantageous.

Our Chinese language teacher will have a strong academic background, be an exemplary role model of professionalism and collegiality and will perform their role with integrity, enthusiasm and energy.
