Technical Lead (React Native / Node.Js)

Brief overview of this role : We are looking for a Tech Lead with mobile / full-stack experience to join our supportive and collaborative mobile team.This role would be great for you if you are looking for more technical authority and autonomy with your work.

Maybe you've worked in startups or had your startup that has finished up, and you want to join a team that moves very quickly and places a huge emphasis on product and engineering.

Maybe you don't have quite as many years of experience as others, but think you would do well at taking on more responsibility.

Lead the development of our two mobile products and their backend services - from architecting new features to improving performance and code quality.Own and drive the technical vision, ensuring all work aligns with long-term architecture and product strategy.Mentor and support engineers on the mobile team through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, and other Engineering teams to translate product requirements into scalable technical solutions.Take the lead on diagnosing and resolving production issues, leveraging tools like Bugsnag and Datadog, and coordinating hotfixes with speed and precision.Continuously improve engineering practices, including testing, CI / CD, performance monitoring, and technical documentation.What will be the biggest challenges for me in this role?

Our mobile products seem simple to our users, but contain a high degree of technical complexity - from shared components across multiple mobile apps, to backend services that only serve the mobile client - there will be a lot to learn.Pace - we move very quickly, so you'll need to be excited to come in and learn extremely fastWe have a strong culture based on core values and standard operating procedures, you may need to unlearn a few things from previous experienceWhat kind of skills and experience do I need to have?
