• Role Type: Temporary (12-months), full-time opportunity with potential extension or conversion to ongoing.
• Salary: DCS clerk grade 11/12 – base salary of $139,787 - $161,663 base + superannuation and leave loading.
• Location: Sydney, flexible working conditions available with in NSW.

We are currently looking for a Principal Siebel Application Developer to join our team for a temporary 12-month opportunity. The position requires to perform Design, develop, test, deploy and support GTP core licensing platforms using Siebel CRM technology.

The Principal Application Developer will design and develop new functionality primarily on an existing Oracle Siebel platform. The role is also accountable for ensuring smooth deployment and production readiness of all developed functionality, and post go-live production support of developed applications.

Key challenges in this role will include development of effective software on time and maintaining services to the public and agencies.

To be successful in this position you will have:

• Strong hands on coding / configuration skills, extensive experience in Siebel 8+ Open UI development including configuration, eScripts, workflows, Enterprise Application integration (EAI), Siebel REST API, Enterprise Integration Management (EIM), Open UI JavaScript and CSS, BI Publisher reports.
• Experience in Siebel architecture, workspaces, server management and monitoring, database and stored procedures, data migration, Siebel upgrade and performance tuning.
• Basic business analyst and consulting skill, including engaging business clients and capturing requirements, identifying gaps, collecting information required for Siebel design and development.
• Considerable experience in a large and complex commercial environment and delivering enterprise systems with high availability and supporting business critical services.
• Ability to work closely with a team of software engineers from different disciplines as well as business analysts; ability to work under high pressure and tight time-frames.
• Be flexible and to sometimes work outside business hours in order to deliver business functionalities.
• Oracle Siebel Open UI Developer certifications and appropriate tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field or equivalent work experience.
