The Role :

We're seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Town Planner to lead diverse urban projects, mentor junior staff, and contribute to business development. This is a key role for a confident communicator who thrives in a fast-paced consultancy environment and is passionate about shaping the future of WA’s urban landscape.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the preparation and delivery of statutory planning applications and strategic planning advice
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Provide expert written and verbal advice to clients, authorities, and key stakeholders
  • Present at panels, tribunals and community or regulatory forums as required
  • Mentor and support junior planning staff, providing clear guidance and feedback
  • Build strong relationships with clients, government bodies, consultants, and community representatives
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to proposals and client engagement strategies
  • About You :

  • Tertiary qualification in Urban and Regional Planning.
  • In-depth knowledge of WA statutory and strategic planning frameworks
  • Strong report writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality outcomes
  • Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving capabilities
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and desire to mentor and grow a team
  • A collaborative approach and commitment to professional integrity
