In the position for assembly worker agricultural equipment, you are building agricultural machinery mainly for arable farming.

We have year-round opportunities in our own modern workshop, located in the Melbourne area.

This work can also be combined well with seasonal work.

Key responsibilitiesTogether with your colleagues you assemble agricultural machinery, such as large seeders so they are ready to be used in the field.

These machines are shipped to Australia by manufacturers, where they need to be assembled and made ready for delivery to the customer.

Technical skillsYou will ensure together with the team that the machines are assembled according to drawings.

Team memberYou will be part of an international team; despite cultural and communication differences, you do your utmost to make collaboration work well.

Work ethicYou adhere to workplace rules and regulations.

QualificationsExperienceYou have some technical experience, and preferably you have affinity with agricultural machinery.

A good command of at least the English language is required.

CompetenciesYou can work well together in a team, have a high sense of responsibility, and you think in terms of possibilities.

What's in it for you?A competitive salary between $25 AUD and $30 AUD per hour, depending on knowledge and experience.

We will prepare you as well as possible for your departure to Australia.

Optionally, we offer you accommodation near our workshop.

Optionally, we will help you with your visa application for a Working Holiday visa (most countries have an age restriction between 18 and 31 years old).

Our Country Manager is present in Australia to assist you as needed.

With our extensive network, we can assist you in finding seeding or harvesting work, either prior to or following your time in our workshop.
