The Role
- Undertake assessments of complex mining / petroleum proposals and, as required native vegetation clearing applications.
 - Provide high level specialist / technical advice to the departments Executive, minerals and energy sector, general public and industry organisations applying environmental legislation relating to resources industry.
 - Prepare reports, documents and correspondence related to complex environmental assessments and make decisions and / or recommendations as required.
 - Carry out the duties of an Inspector and undertake inspections / compliance assessments of mining / petroleum operations to monitor for compliance with environmental regulatory requirements.
 
Qualifications & Licenses
A Bachelor of Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management Degree or an approved equivalent scientific degree appropriate for the role / responsibilities described in this Job Description Form.Benefits working for DMPE
