Business Analyst – Energy Sector (Contract)

Location : Brisbane (Hybrid work options). Duration : Initial 6‑month contract with potential extensions. Rate : Competitive daily rate.

We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support a series of smaller initiatives in the private energy sector. The role involves gathering and documenting business requirements, driving process improvements, and supporting the design and delivery of COTS / SaaS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements and system processes.
• Coordinate release and deployment activities, including user testing.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and business artefacts.
• Manage requirement backlogs and prioritise changes in collaboration with system owners.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to achieve outcome-focused discussions.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure smooth communication.
