About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Baker to join our busy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and baking a wide range of bread products ensuring consistency quality and adherence to Bakers Delight standards.

Prepare and bake bread rolls buns specialty loaves and other baked products from scratch.

Measure mix knead shape and proof dough in accordance with recipes and production requirements.

Operate baking equipment safely including mixers ovens and slicers.

Monitor baking processes to maintain product standards quality and freshness.

Maintain a clean hygienic and organised work environment complying with all food safety and WHS requirements.

Manage baking schedules to ensure product availability throughout the day.

Assist in stock rotation ingredient management and minimising waste.

Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production targets.

Uphold Bakers Delight brand standards and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Requirements

Skills & Experience

Previous experience as a Baker (preferably in a commercial bakery environment).

Knowledge of dough preparation proofing and baking techniques.

Ability to work early mornings weekends and public holidays as required.

Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.

Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual hands-on tasks.

Positive attitude reliability and strong teamwork skills.

Qualifications (desirable)

Certificate III in Baking or equivalent trade qualifications (or relevant industry experience).

Experience working within a franchise or high-volume bakery.
