We’re looking for a trade-qualified Fitter to join a dynamic and innovative manufacturing team that delivers precision-engineered equipment for the global food processing industry. What will you be doing?

  • Mechanical assembly of processing equipment from detailed drawings
  • Fitting, aligning, and assembling components and subassemblies
  • Working from engineering drawings and schematics
  • Collaborating with engineers and fabricators to complete builds
  • Conducting quality checks and troubleshooting mechanical issues
  • Maintaining tools and workstations in a safe, organised manner
  • Assisting with commissioning and testing when required
  • What do you need?

  • Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
  • Previous experience in precision or industrial assembly work
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Driver’s License
  • Forklift License (advantageous)
  • Be able to work and manage with others as part of a team
  • Self-motivated and safety-conscious
  • Ability to work unsupervised and take initiative
  • Accuracy, good time management, and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow established processes and procedures
