Our client, a leading organisation, is seeking a

Senior Network Systems Administrator

, to lead the designing, implementing, and managing secure, high-performance network infrastructure. This is a leadership position that combines technical excellence with team development.

Key Responsibilities

Lead ICT / System Admin teams in delivering infrastructure uplifts and ongoing operations.

Architect and manage secure, scalable network environments.

Develop and maintain DevSecOps / ICT policies and procedures.

Provide mentoring, coaching, and professional development to team members.

Evaluate technical options and provide strategic recommendations.

Collaborate across teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Ensure compliance with WHS, privacy, and enterprise policies.

Skills & Experience

Tertiary qualification in IT or equivalent experience.

Advanced knowledge of routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, and protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS).

Experience with virtualisation technologies (VMWare, ESXi, NSX, vSphere).

Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible, Python, PowerShell).

Strong Linux administration and backup / recovery expertise.

Familiarity with Cisco, FortiNet, and other networking products.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.
