• Key Responsibilities :
• Pricing bid packages
• Requesting and negotiating pricing from sub-contractors
• Establish pricing schedules
• Review specifications and drawings to complete bid review forms
• Perform bid evaluations
• Create Bills of materials from drawings
• Follow up tender results and update tender register Ideal Candidate will possess the following attributes :
• Previous experience in a similar role as a Commercial Estimator
• Experience working on medium to large scale commercial construction projects in WA
• Ability to produce competitive and accurate estimates for large scale projects
• Commercial negotiation experience and well developed influencing skills
• Strong knowledge of the risks related to the commercial construction industry is essential
• Experience with established relationships with key sub-contractors and suppliers in metro and regional WA is essential
• High ability to meet deadlines, productive within a high pressure work environment
• High attention to detail, technically, in particular in the review of client / job scope, brief and requirements To be successful in this position, you will have worked within the commercial sector on various projects throughout WA.
