Position : Logistics Systems Analyst

Position Type : Full-Time

Salary : $80,000 to $90,000 plus superannuation per annum

Location : Bell Post Hill VIC 3215

Our client is seeking a full-time Logistics Systems Analyst to join their team located in Bell Post Hill, Victoria.

As a Logistics Systems Analyst you will be responsible for analysing, designing, and maintaining logistics-related technology systems that support operational efficiency, compliance, and fleet performance. This includes coordinating with management and transport contractors to streamline dispatching, fleet tracking, fatigue compliance systems (e.g., FoxTrax, GPS), and documentation processes aligned with partner requirements (e.g., Linfox and Sadleirs Transport).

Duties and Responsibilities :

Analyse current logistics systems and operational workflows to identify improvement opportunities using technology solutions.
Evaluate and support software applications used for job allocation, delivery tracking, vehicle routing, GPS data, and driver fatigue management.
Configure and maintain integration of platforms such as FOXLink, FoxTrax, and Linfox documentation portals with internal dispatching processes.
Assist in the automation of load tracking, proof-of-delivery (POD) uploads, compliance documentation, and pallet management systems.
Design user workflows for dispatchers and drivers to ensure compliance with HVNL, fatigue, and chain of responsibility requirements.
Liaise with IT providers and vendors to implement, test, and optimise business systems relevant to transport logistics.
Provide training and support to staff and contractors on the use of logistics software, mobile applications, and onboard tracking devices.
Develop internal reporting tools to monitor vehicle usage, fuel efficiency, and trip profitability using integrated data from multiple systems.
Document business processes and create user manuals for internal software tools and contractor compliance applications.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Business Systems, Logistics or a related field.

Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst, preferably in transport, logistics or supply chain sectors.

Knowledge of logistics compliance frameworks including Chain of Responsibility (CoR), HVNL, fatigue management systems.

Proficiency in data analysis and business process mapping.

Familiarity with GPS tracking platforms, electronic job dispatch, and documentation management systems.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
