About the Role

We are seeking a technically skilled and detail-oriented Textile Technologist to support the development and performance of raw materials used in the manufacture of uniforms for our clients.

This role plays a key part in ensuring fabrics and trims meet quality, environmental, and compliance standards, with a focus on material performance, sustainability, and supplier collaboration. You’ll work closely with internal teams and suppliers to assist in testing, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you’ll be doing

• Assist in the research, development, and lifecycle tracking of fabrics and proprietary trims.
• Help maintain the fabric / materials library, including test data and compliance documentation.
• Support quality and environmental checks to ensure raw materials meet required standards.
• Contribute to material sourcing activities aimed at improving efficiency and reducing duplication.
• Assist with lab testing and performance analysis of fabric developments.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to support product compliance with relevant standards.
• Provide input into cost-effective development outcomes and help track costing data.
• Support ethical sourcing and sustainability efforts across fabric and trim suppliers.
• Build positive working relationships with internal stakeholders and supply partners.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost, quality, and delivery.
