EMBARK NOW on a deeply rewarding journey as a Support Worker in our Individualised Programs team across the Newcastle & Hunter region, and experience the satisfaction by supporting your clients to overcome challenges, achieve their goals, and thrive in a supportive environment.
Primarily, these positions include community-based one-on-one support where you'll have the opportunity to directly engage with clients and encourage independence by taking them out into the community.
These positions are designed to service clients across the Greater Newcastle & Hunter region, between the Wallsend, Stockton & Lake Macquarie areas!
Starting as a casual position, CPA encourages progression and there is a pathway to permanent part-time work in the future.
The Role :
Support adults living in CPA group homes to lead rich, independent and empowered lives. Your day-to-day may include :
Encouraging skill-building, independence, and decision-making
Providing respectful support with personal care, mealtimes, medication, and daily routines
Supporting community engagement, social connection and transport (including use of CPA vans & in your own vehicle)
Following person-centred plans with empathy and professionalism
Building positive relationships with our clients.
What You'll Bring :
We are looking for candidates who embody CPA values, are client-focused in their approach to care, and are passionate about the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of people with disabilities.
Professional Behaviour Support experience or lived experience preferred, however your can-do attitude is key!

Physical capability to support clients with mobility or transfers
Availability for a minimum of 3 days per week (15–20+ hours)
Available to work shifts between the hours of 7am - 10pm.
Comfortable travelling to all locations in the region
A current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum).
