Director of Food and Beverage - Major Caribbean Resort

We are conducting a search for an outstanding Director of Food and Beverage for one of our international resort clients that operates a first-class, all-inclusive property in St Lucia. They are urgently seeking the talents of an outstanding individual who will possess excellent guest service and cost management knowledge as well as an eye for detail. The candidate will oversee the entire food and beverage operations to ensure that all financial goals are met and that superior service standards are maintained at all times. You will also have a proven history of analyzing and understanding Food and Beverage business trends. You will direct and assist in the development and implementation of innovative promotional food and beverage events and constantly seek out creative ways to improve service to guests from all over the world. This position requires the individual to work side-by-side with the food and beverage team and to be able to lead by example. They would like someone with at least 5 years experience in a four or five-diamond / all-inclusive property and they will also have a proven track record in maintaining the creative and trendy Food & Beverage concepts and experience in all areas of food and beverage Through your outstanding communication and effective management skills you will be a “Champion “ in professional management development and maintain a close and effective working relationship with all food and beverage leaders and colleagues through their respective departments. A University degree in Hotel / Restaurant Management is strongly desired for this position. The Dorector of Food & Beverage will oversee a good number of major restaurant operations, extensive bars and entertainment venues. You will be a dynamic member of the hotel's Executive Committee and ensure strong departmental representation on other hotel committees and activities. You will report directly to the Hotel Manager.
