Audio & Communications Engineer
Join the NEP Group, Inc. team as an Audio & Communications Engineer (Comms Technician). This role is based in Eveleigh, Homebush, Scoresby or Southbank and supports field or studio projects across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all audio / communications facilities in and around the OB compound are operational and patched by scheduled hand‑over times.
- Liaise with the project’s Audio Director and Technical Manager to confirm the size, scope and production schedule for required in‑field facilities.
- Maintain a neat, tidy and professional environment for all audio / communications equipment, ensuring safety for the public and co‑workers.
Required Skills and Attributes
Solid knowledge of Riedel and RTS communication systems (or similar).Basic knowledge of audio consoles, especially LAWO and Calrec.Operational experience at an engineering level and a good understanding of related devices.Availability for weekend and evening work, often required.Minimum 3 years of television broadcasting experience preferred.Benefits
