Store Manager Optical Retail - Sydney CBD

We are currently working with a well-established retailer in the eyewear industry who is seeking a Store Manager to join their team at their flagship store in The Galeries, Sydney CBD. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced retail leader with a passion for eyewear and exceptional customer service to take the next step in their career.

As the Store Manager , you will be responsible for the overall performance and operations of the store. You will lead a team to exceed sales targets, maintain high standards of customer service, and ensure the store is running efficiently. This role also offers the opportunity to make an impact in a dynamic retail environment while working closely with a supportive head office team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and inspire a team to achieve sales targets and KPIs
• Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth processes and efficient management
• Provide an exceptional customer experience, fostering long-term relationships
• Manage stock levels, visual merchandising, and store presentation to ensure it aligns with brand standards
• Handle staff rostering and scheduling (Tuesday-Saturday)
• Monitor financial performance, budgets, and commissions to achieve optimal results
• Drive in-store promotions and initiatives to increase foot traffic and sales

The Ideal Candidate :

• Previous experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Senior Retail Leader
• Strong background in Optical or Optometry retail (highly favourable)
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
• Ability to meet and exceed sales goals and operational targets
• Passionate about fashion, eyewear trends, and delivering great customer service
• Organised, reliable, and capable of working independently and within a team
