Job description

A permanent full-time role in Western Sydney, NSW for a well established locally owned dental laboratory with 35 years of experience in the industry, specialising in Surgical Dentistry, Emergency Denture & Oral health / Dental hygiene. For an experienced Dental Assistant, Oral Health Assistant or Dental Nurse to join the lovely team in providing great dental service to the local and broader community.

  • 4+ years experience as a Dental Assistant
  • 55,000 - $65,000 per annum
  • Western Sydney, NSW

A normal day includes - 8.30am - 4.30pm working days, with 38 hour weeks + 1 Saturday a month

  • Prepare work area and gather necessary instruments and supplies.
  • Greet and prepare patients for dental procedures.
  • Assist dentist during procedures and anticipate their needs.
  • Take and record vital signs, operate dental equipment.
  • Assist with dental X-rays and perform basic laboratory tasks.
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control.
  • Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene.
  • Handle administrative tasks and schedule appointments.
  • Maintain clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with dental team for efficient operations.

    You will need

  • Hold a Certificate III / IV in Dental Assisting
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations in dentistry
  • Past industry experience as a Dental Assistant
  • Experience in maintaining a safe and clean working environment
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care
  • Excellent sense of initiative and high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with both patients and your support team
  • To be well organised and have great time management
