• to join our dynamic team. This full-time role will see you operating from both our CBD UGL Office and Kwinana Site Office, collaborating with skilled professionals to deliver real impact across key construction services projects.
• About the Role
• The Project Controls Lead – Digital System Implementation is a critical position designed to enhance UGL's digital capabilities and improve project delivery across a range of energy infrastructure contracts. You’ll lead the establishment and implementation of a standardised Digital Project Controls framework, utilising cutting-edge systems and sustainable solutions to streamline operations, reduce waste, and boost productivity.
• Key Responsibilities
• As the Project Controls Lead, you will :
• Conduct gap analyses of current systems and processes.
• Define success criteria and KPIs aligned with business objectives.
• Lead the design, configuration, and integration of digital tools.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Develop system implementation timelines and cost forecasts.
• Create detailed operating and user procedures.
• Coordinate and manage system implementation schedules.
• Provide guidance, training, and technical support to key stakeholders.
• Ensure reporting accuracy and validate system interoperability.
• Establish mechanisms for continuous improvement and review performance against KPIs quarterly.
• Additionally, you will actively seek delivery improvement opportunities and generate innovative solutions to tackle project challenges. Compliance with UGL’s policies and procedures will form a core part of your operational responsibilities.
• About You
• To succeed in this role, you bring :
• Extensive experience with Primavera P6 software – mandatory.
• Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline (or trade qualifications with 5+ years in a similar role) – preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Project Controls, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
• A solid understanding of industry trends, best practices, and end-user requirements.
• Proven expertise in project controls system implementation.
• High attention to detail, with the ability to plan, prioritise, and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• A commitment to continuous improvement and professional conduct.
