We’re on the hunt for an experienced Horticulturist  to step into a key role within our high-end residential garden maintenance team . Based on the stunning Mornington Peninsula , you’ll take charge of some of the region’s most beautiful private gardens—leading with care, precision, and pride.

About the Opportunity

From plant heath to turf care, your focus in this role will be on detail, quality, and continual improvement. You'll enjoy the rewards of watching beautiful gardens establish and thrive under your care. You'll be working closely with our tight-knit maintenance crew to deliver standout results for our loyal clients.

As part of this dynamic role, you’ll be :

  • Leading a maintenance team on-site
  • Coordinating tasks and ensuring high-quality work
  • Liaising with clients as a professional representative of the brand
  • Helping shape and improve some of the best gardens in the region.​

Requirements

  • What You’ll Need

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in residential landscape maintenance
  • Cert II in Horticulture or Parks and Gardens
  • Team leadership skills (mentoring junior staff members will be a key part of your role)
  • The ability to present well and liaise confidently with Smart Landscapes clients
  • A passion for plants, gardens, and high standards
  • An eye for detail
  • Reliability and a solid work ethic
  • A driver’s licence
