We bring together leading professionals from blood‑draw collectors and couriers to PhDs and laboratory scientists to provide insights to referring clinicians and patients.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Pathology Collector to service Rockhampton. This is a casual position covering sick and annual leave.

Primary Duties

Take blood and other specimens from patients, including performing ECGs and Holter monitoring.
Process pathology specimens.
Work alone and as part of a busy team.
Perform clerical duties and process paperwork.

Skills and Experience

Venepuncture experience essential with vacutainer method.

Collection of blood and other samples from patients in residential homes and aged care facilities.

Experience in ECGs and Holter monitors.

Current QLD driver licence.

Ability to communicate with the team, referring doctors, and patients.

Dedication to patient care and service delivery.

Organisational and problem‑solving skills.

Prioritise and work under pressure.

Comply with Work Health and Safety.

Requirements

Current working with children check and police clearance provided upon commencement of employment.
