Senior Laboratory Technician (Senior School) – Location : Keysborough
Work Type : Part Time, Permanent Position (0.4 FTE - 15.2 hours per week)

Haileybury is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Senior Laboratory Technician to join our Science team.
You will play a key role in supporting dynamic, hands-on learning by preparing experiments, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and inspiring laboratory environment for students.
Responsibilities
Set up equipment, prepare materials, and assist teaching staff to ensure smooth execution of practical sessions and experiments.
Maintain cleanliness, security, and safety standards, including proper storage, labelling of chemicals, and record-keeping as required by authorities.
Order and maintain consumable stocks, manage resource inventories, trial experiments, and coordinate repair work with the maintenance department.
Work predominantly in VCE Systems Engineering and Physics.
About you
Proven ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
Strong organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Experience working with children from culturally and / or linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Well-organised and patient.
Enthusiastic, conscientious, and a collaborative team player.
