Piggery Attendant / Feedmill Hand - Parkham, TAS

Location : Parkham, Tasmania

    • Pay Rate : $29.33 per hour

    Duration : 6 months (Starting end of April, dependent on weather and market demands)

    Schedule : Approximately 38 hours per week

    The Role :

    We are currently seeking a hardworking and reliable Piggery Attendant / Feedmill Hand to join our client's agricultural operation in Parkham, Tasmania. This hands-on role includes work across both piggery and feedmill environments, with a focus on maintaining clean facilities and supporting feed production and packaging operations.

    This is a physically demanding role that involves lifting and stacking feed bags weighing up to 20kg. You'll be required to assist with general cleaning duties around the piggery and help bag and palletise feedmill products.

    • Your Skills and Experience :

    To be considered for this role, you must have :

  • Experience in grain mill manufacturing or a similar environment
  • Forklift license (preferred but not essential)
  • Ability to lift up to 20kg regularly
  • A strong commitment to safety and hygiene standards
  • Willingness to commit to the full 6-month period
  • Punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic
