We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our Regional Assets, Track team located at our Cairns depot.

• Potential earnings up to $110,000 + 12.75% super – including penalties
• 9-day fortnight – Mon - Fri, Tues - Fri (3 day wkd every fortnight)
• General work hours : 0600 to 1500 in Summer & 0700 to 1600 in Winter

Purpose that counts.

As the Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of a team of Trackworkers. You’ll use your people skills to make sure all aspects of work is carried out safely and efficiently. Your key responsibilities will include :

Ensuring all plant and equipment receive regular servicing and maintenance

Liaising with the Track Maintenance Supervisor regarding daily work requirements

Assisting tradespeople in providing mechanical maintenance support for machines as needed

Performing administrative and record-keeping duties
