Job description
  • 12month PartTime Fixed Term position 28 hours per week across five days). This is an extended leave replacement position. If the period of extended leave changes the contract period will also be subject to change with a period of four weeks notice in advance of any changes.
  • Commencing May 2025 end date May 22 2026.
  • Salary at MOA 5 classification commencing at $99365.02 pro rata 11.5 superannuation.

    About the role

    A 12month part time fixed term opportunity is available at our Clarence Park Community Centre within the Community and Cultural Centres portfolio.

    The role of Coordinator Clarence Park Community Centre reports to the Team Leader Community Centres and offers a fabulous opportunity to be part of a hardworking and passionate team tasked with promoting community capacity building social inclusion participation connection and wellbeing. Clarence Park Community Centre is managed in partnership by the City of Unley and the Clarence Park Community Centre Inc (Board) and offers a diverse range of programs and services.

    The position is located at Clarence Park Community Centre and offers great working conditions and the flexibility of parttime hours 28 hours per week) across 5 weekdays for a 12month parttime fixed term contract. Some out of hours work may be required.

    About you

    To succeed in this role you will have :

    • A tertiary qualification in a relevant community development social sciences discipline and / or extensive relevant experience.
    • Previous experience in a leadership role within a community service / setting.
    • Experience in effectively managing developing and mentoring staff and volunteers.
    • Experience in developing and managing communitybased programs and projects.
    • The ability to provide leadership aligning to COU organisational values.
    • Experience working with a Board of Management.
