This is a great opportunity to join our SMP and Civils teams working on the newly awarded Western Range project located in the Pilbara, Western Australia.

The Project

Civmec has secured the award of a major construction contract for the Rio Tinto Western Range Project at their Paraburdoo site in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

The iron ore project includes Greenfields and Brownfields scope with the construction of a new Run of Mine (ROM) pad, primary crushing facility, overland conveying circuit and modifications to the Coarse Ore Stockpile (COS) and downstream conveying system.

Your Background

To be successful in the role you will possess the following :

2+ years recent relevant experience

Nationally Recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card

High Risk Work License with WP

Current Working at Heights Certificate highly regarded

Provide assistance to various trades

Safely and efficiently be competent in the operation of various hand tools used in the execution of civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical activities

Transport tools, materials and work pieces to and from sites or workbenches

Conduct general site duties as required

Conduct pre-start checks on plant and equipment, hand tools, tooling and equipment prior carrying out the task
