The Trades Assistant will be responsible for carrying out, and assisting with, efficient and cost-effective maintenance, repairs and minor new work within the West Moreton Health Service District. Temporary Full-time opportunity for up to 12 months!| Workplace Location | Brisbane - West,Ipswich region | About the role Assist Trades staff and other Infrastructure and Assets supervisory personnel in the performance of scheduled and corrective maintenance and accommodation management tasks. Assist with office relocations, including lifting of office and household furniture, whitegoods, boxes and construction waste. Organise and complete allocated tasks including ensuring availability of materials, meeting deadlines and ensuring that required standards are met. Collection and delivery of construction materials. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following : Demonstrated ability to prioritise works, projects and timeframes. Demonstrated ability to make responsible and accurate recommendations in relation to maintenance work. Demonstrated ability to produce an effective work output in terms of both quality and quantity without supervision. Ability to work effectively as a member of a team or individually, interacting, communicating and negotiating effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Mandatory Requirements : Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the ( \_\_data / assets / pdf\_file / 0009 / 150120 / hed-0116.pdf ) Possession of a General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
