The group currently offers services within mortgage finance, assetfinance and commercial finance.
Responsibilities
- Your core responsibility willbe to provide comprehensive lending scenarios, structuring and servicingsupport to a high-performance Broker as well as managing the client applicationprocess from lodgment to settlement. You will play a critical role as you willliaise with the brokers, lenders and clients, researching and structuringapplications to meet our clients’ requirements.
- Daily you will liaise withclients via phone and email to understand their lending requirements andmotivation / goals and collect the relevant details, including a clientprofile / fact find, budget, supporting documents, for loan assessment.
- Daily you will liaise withlender and other agents to drive the lending scenario analysis, structuring andpreparing loan application, including completing servicing, loan structureanalysis, strategies to get the deal together, ordering valuations and creditreport and managing the client’s expectations.
- Assess credit worthiness ofeach client opportunity. This includes understanding the client’s motivationfor obtaining finance, interpreting details and documents provided by clients.Compiling loan application together ready for submission to lender andcompleting all compliance checks required. A credit assessment or loanstructuring background would be advantageous.
- Be able to understand andinterpret financials for self-employed individuals, company / trust structuresand other complex financial situations is essential.
- End to end process the loanapplication from submit to post settlement. Liaise with the client and brokerand manage the application. Stay ahead of the client and broker withcommunication, tasks and timeframes. Truly manage the process and outcomes.
- Attend training sessions andteam meetings when required.
- Contribute to continuousimprovement and team development – Improving internal tasks and procedures,client communication, ensure high level of product and lender policy knowledge.
- Adhere to various legal,compliance, credit and customer service standards.

Requirements
A finance / accountingbackground or degree is essential.Diploma of Mortgage &Finance Broking desirable.Senior level 3-5 plus yearsAustralian loan structuring and processing experience is preferredUnderstand how to interpretfinancial documents and consider appropriate structuring options to achieveclients’ objectives.Comprehensive knowledge ofcurrent Australian lender policies and capacity to stay on top of lender andmarket policy movements required.Experience with SalesForce is desirableExceptional Australian creditknowledge and regulatory requirements is desirable.Honest, reliable andhardworking is essential.Strong problem solving, andmathematical skills are required. Think outside the box and a strong desire tosolving problem is required for this position.Strong communication skills(verbal and written) is required.
