Technical Product Engineer

This great organisation that means so much to so many, which is located in the north west of Sydney, is in need of a Technical Product Engineer. This role will see you prepare and evaluate technical design, tender and specification documentation for appliances, equipment, PPE/PPC and other engineering products, so as to enhance operational safety and capability, while achieving value for money.

Some of your duties will include:

• Lead the design, development, testing and evaluation of products and services across engineering categories to ensure they are fit for purpose .
• Analyse and interpret data to inform strategic decisions and implement processes and practices to optimise business outcomes.
• Coordinate procurement solutions across engineering categories enhancing operational capability.
• Provide strategic advice on procurement related risks and opportunities, supplier performance and operational effectiveness.

You will bring to the role:

• Previous experience in engineering design and principles including the generation and interpretation of drawings,
• Knowledge around technical management, research and problem solving with the ability to develop and implement complex research and development projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to build out documentation based on specifications.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both as part of a team, while interacting with the whole of the organsiation
• Ability to work closely with Procurement
