Position Summary
We are seeking applications from experienced Project Coordinators to support our Offshore Projects Group. This role will be based in our Jandakot Office.
The Project Coordinator is an integral member of the projects team. The position is responsible for ensuring that subsea and topside projects scopes are specified, manufactured, tested, and installed to meet operational objectives, company, national and international standards, and to ensure the projects integrate into and work well as an overall system.
This role works collaboratively with project management, engineering, workshop team as well as supporting services including Supply Chain, HSE & Quality, servers, and contractors.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide project management and support services such as developing and maintaining project documents and schedules, preparing project‑related reports, coordinating project meetings and workshops.
- Prepare, track and update project progress through bids, schedules, procurement, cost reports and work requirements to ensure project status is accurate and timely.
- Initiate and manage project part requirements through collaboration with Engineering, Projects and Supply Chain including developing and managing project Bill of Materials, raising requisitions and tracking.
- Assist with reviewing and documenting current processes and capabilities.
- Assist Project Managers and Project Engineers to manage multiple projects, activities, and associated resources.
- Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate work requirements for Engineering, Projects, and Workshop to facilitate exchange of information and support project completion.
- Source, collate and compile data to identify emerging issues and track / project progress against established milestones and deliverables.
- Coordinate with third‑party vendors, subcontractors, and supply chain management to ensure the successful management of vendors and orders, ensuring the sharing of information for project execution.
- Manage inventory builds and manufactured / sales products.
- Assist in ensuring close‑out of projects próprias participation in AAR and lessons learned.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project forms, work instructions and processes.
Qualifications & Experience
Cert IV or Diploma in Project Management or Engineering.Minimum 3 years of project support and planning / scheduling experience.Proficiency in Microsoft software – Word, Excel, Access, and Project.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Understanding of engineering design of mechanical systems, hydraulics, tooling.Proven project execution skills and ability to work efficiently within a diverse team.Working knowledge of document control systems and project design.Experience raising requisitions and working with ERP and CRM systems.Experience in project bid preparation.Ability to read and understand design drawings and schematics.Previous experience within the oil and gas industry.Ability to work independently with minimal managerial supervision.Demonstrated understanding of project management concepts.Understanding of Engineering Process.Travel & Working Conditions
Ad hoc travel to offshore production facilities, drilling rigs and installation vessels.
