Base pay range : A$125,000.00 / yr - A$135,000.00 / yr

Location : Sydney CBD (Hybrid – 4 days onsite, 1 day WFH)

Employment Type : Permanent, Full-Time

Compensation : $125,000-135,000 Base + Super + Bonus

About the client

Our client is an established Australian technology business building consumer facing digital products at scale. They are upgrading their delivery practices and product experience to support the next phase of growth. You will join a close knit team of around 30 onshore staff that partners with a distributed engineering group offshore (20+ team members).

The opportunity

Reporting to a senior product leader, you will own end to end delivery across a busy roadmap. Your focus is to bring rhythm and discipline from idea through to release. You will run ceremonies, keep Jira accurate, improve reporting and throughput, and create clarity for the business. You will collaborate daily with product, design, QA and engineering, and work flexibly to overlap with overseas developers when required.

What you will do

Lead and facilitate agile ceremonies including stand ups, sprint planning, estimation, showcases and retros
Maintain truthful boards and backlogs in Jira so status and priorities are always visible
Drive a consistent two week sprint cadence including planning poker and estimates versus actuals reporting
Remove blockers quickly and coordinate cross functional support as needed
Track progress against the roadmap and provide clear, timely updates to stakeholders
Partner with product and engineering to sequence work and align capacity with priorities
Support adjacent platform initiatives such as analytics tooling integrations
Work constructively with distributed teams in Europe and Asia, occasionally attending late afternoon sessions to enable overlap

What you will bring

Practical experience facilitating agile rituals and embedding strong delivery habits

Hands on Jira expertise and a knack for simple, reliable reporting the business trusts

Confident stakeholder management and the ability to set expectations and hold teams to account

Comfort in a scale up environment where you improve the system while keeping work moving

Proven coordination across multiple streams and initiatives

Experience collaborating with offshore teams and adapting schedules for time zone overlap

Nice to have

Background in consumer technology or product centric environments

Exposure to building or uplifting product analytics and data informed ways of working

Ways of working and flexibility

The team is based in Sydney CBD with flexibility. Collaboration with overseas engineers may require occasional late afternoon meetings. In return, start times can be self managed the following day. Current practice includes one day per week from home with additional flexibility for tech staff based on delivery needs.
