Our Client :

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Financial Planner to join an established boutique financial advice firm in Maroubra. You will be taking over an existing book of clients with the support of an experienced back office team. The firm is experiencing exponential growth and you will play a key part in supporting the business' exponential growth.

You will be looking after a book of clients and taking on new clients referred to you. This is the ideal role for you if you have experience as an Authorised Representative and we are also open to someone who has recently finished their PY and looking for their next step up.

About the role

This role seeks an experienced Financial Planner whose primary focus is to provide specialist financial advice across both new and existing client relationships. You will be responsible for the overall delivery of client outcomes, ongoing service obligations and financial advice needs.

Key responsibilities :

  • Manage an existing book of clients and grow the client base by working with referral partners.
  • Ensure the Administration team have all the necessary information and documentation to implement the approved financial strategies from the SoA.
  • Approve and sign-off all advice documents, ensuring all advice is consistent with the Client’s goals, risk profile and scope.
  • Provide quality advice for clients on complex decisions they need to make regarding their wealth.
  • Work with the team to manage existing book of clients across retail and wholesale space.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Work closely with staff for performance management, development and succession planning.

Skills and Experience

  • 3 years financial planning experience.
  • Have a solid understanding of essential financial planning areas, including superannuation, investments, insurance, and SMSFs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in simple terms.
  • Meet the FASEA Education Requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Xplan.
