About Us

Coota Girls Aboriginal Corporation supports the healing, wellbeing, and self-determination of Stolen Generations Survivors and their families. We work in partnership to address the social, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs of Coota Girls Survivors and their families.

Our work is trauma-informed and holistic. We deliver healing programs, provide direct practical support, advocate for systemic change, and create spaces for truth-telling. Through strong partnerships, we ensure Survivors are supported with dignity, safety, and respect.

About the Role

We are seeking a First Nations-identified Elder Care Connector to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role supports Survivors, families, and descendants to access culturally safe aged care and wellbeing services, while strengthening community networks and interagency relationships.

Key responsibilities include :

• Supporting Survivors and families to identify needs and coordinate access to aged care services and supports.
• Facilitating referrals and building strong community networks across relevant local areas.
• Working with organisations to strengthen understanding of the impacts of removals on Stolen Generations Survivors.
• Maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Supporting compliance and reporting in line with NACCHO requirements.
