Your opportunity :

• The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is a clinical leader, accountable at an advanced practice level for public health nursing services, to the prevention and control of communicable disease, including immunisation, at a population level in the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service area (covering Fraser Coast, Bundaberg, Childers, Gin Gin, Agnes Water, Miriam Vale, and the North Burnett).
• The CNC demonstrates sound knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and theory and provides clinical leadership, advice and advocacy to a multidisciplinary team and is responsible for the facilitation and provision of quality and cost effective nursing and / or midwifery services which are consistent with contemporary standards, guidelines, relevant legislation and best practice.

Our offer :

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $82,106 p.a., comprising salary between $66,281 - $71,962 p.a, employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7) (Permanent Part Time, 38 hours p.f.)
