Are you a commercially minded sales leader with FMCG wholesale experience? Our client, a fast growing, Australian FMCG distributor, seeking a Wholesale Sales Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of wholesale customers across multiple channels, including route, petrol & convenience, foodservice, and pharmacy.
This is a pivotal leadership role where youll combine strategic account management, new business development, and team coaching to drive performance and service excellence. Youll lead a small team based in Prestons, with full ownership of your territory and responsibility for achieving sales and margin targets.
What Youll Do :
Manage and grow an existing portfolio of wholesale distribution customersDevelop and implement account and territory strategies to hit sales and margin targetsIdentify and secure new business opportunitiesLead, coach, and develop a team of 2 to ensure top-notch field executionCollaborate with internal teams to support customer outcomesRepresent the business at trade events, sales meetings, and presentationsWhat You Bring :
Proven FMCG wholesale / distribution sales experienceLeadership or mentoring experience (formal or informal)Strong track record in achieving commercial resultsExcellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skillsAnalytical mindset and ability to turn insights into actionable strategiesHighly organised, proactive, and confident working autonomouslyCurrent Australian drivers licenceWhats on Offer :
