This represents a rare opportunity with an well established boutique accounting firm based in Newcastle who are experiencing significant growth. This firm offers their clients expert advice in the areas of tax and financial planning. The firm is 100% Xero based and are very modern in the way they conduct business.

The firm boasts low staff turnover due to their positive office culture.

POSITION

Due to growth, the position of Senior Accountant has been created. This role could also potentially suit a talented Intermediate Accountant who is looking for a new challenge.

The role will involve the preparation of tax returns and financials for various entities, Div 7A + CGT + FBT issues, BAS/IAS and attending to client queries. This role will evolve into an advisory position with training and mentoring provided.

CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

• 3+ years experience within Australian Public Practice
• Strong technical tax knowledge
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Ability to be a team player
