What is ShopBack Snap

ShopBack Snap gives everyday Aussies the power to scan their receipts from Woolworths Coles Chemist Warehouse ALDI IGA Costco Kmart Bunnings UberEATS Shell Priceline Ampol and more than 100 other retailers. Behind it sits world-class technology that connects online and offline spend to give CPG brands a complete view of their customers and the tools to reach them in smarter ways.

With Snap brands can recruit new households launch new products and win those key shopping moments across grocery convenience liquor and more. Its fast data-driven and already redefining what retail media looks like in Australia.

The Role

Were looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to lead new brand acquisition across FMCG and CPG. Youll be at the front line meeting pitching and closing partnerships with some of Australias biggest and most loved brands across snacks beverages alcohol pantry dairy and personal care.

Youll manage a portfolio of more than 200 potential brands helping them understand the value of ShopBack Snap and bringing them onto the platform through data-led insight-driven campaigns.

This is a role for someone who thrives in a new product environment enjoys solving commercial challenges and wants to help shape a product thats scaling rapidly across Australia.

What Youll Do

  • Manage the full sales cycle from sourcing to closing new CPG partnerships
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of mid-market and enterprise FMCG brands
  • Use insights and data to design campaigns that deliver measurable sales growth for partners
  • Educate and influence key stakeholders within marketing media and category teams
  • Partner with internal product data and marketing teams to continuously improve Snaps offer
  • Help shape how Snap grows across categories and brands in its next phase

What Were Looking For

  • 6 years of business development or sales experience in FMCG retail media or ad tech
  • Strong relationships across the CPG landscape including shopper marketing brand and media agency contacts
  • A proven track record of exceeding targets and building partnerships from the ground up
  • A natural storyteller who can translate data into clear commercial outcomes
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving environment where systems and priorities evolve quickly
  • Curious ambitious and excited to help define the future of retail media in Australia
  • Demonstrated use of Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT Cursor) to develop new or improve workflows enhance productivity and drive efficiency at scale.
