Bricklayer

GH Building Pty Ltd is a growing residential construction company delivering quality homes, duplexes and townhouse projects across Western Australia. Due to a strong pipeline of work, we’re seeking an experienced Bricklayer to join our site team on a full-time basis.

About the role

You’ll be responsible for carrying out brick and block laying works across new residential builds, ensuring high standards of workmanship, safety, and productivity.

• Lay bricks / blocks for external and internal walls in residential construction
• Interpret plans, set out works, and ensure correct levels, plumb and alignment
• Mix and apply mortar, cut and shape bricks / blocks as required
• Construct footings, piers, partitions, fireplaces, retaining and feature walls (where applicable)
• Install lintels, damp-proof courses, wall ties and reinforcement as required
• Maintain clean work areas, manage materials, and minimise wastage
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and other trades to meet build schedules
• Follow WHS requirements and site safety procedures at all times

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 2 years relevant post-qualification experience (preferred)
• Ability to read drawings and work to building standards and tolerances
• Strong knowledge of WHS, manual handling and safe work practices
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced site environment
