Role Overview:

We are seeking skilled and experienced Boilermakers to join our MEM team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mobile plant equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety. Your expertise will help keep Australia’s mining industry moving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform fabrication, welding, and repairs on mobile plant equipment, including:
  • Bucket refurbishments
  • Tray repairs
  • General fabrication work
• Conduct inspections and diagnose faults on mining equipment.
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to deliver high-quality repairs.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used.
• Provide input on maintenance schedules and strategies to optimise equipment performance.

About You:

• Trade qualification as a Boilermaker or equivalent.
• 3–5+ years of experience in mobile plant maintenance or similar roles.
• Proficiency in welding techniques, including flux core and inner-shield welding.
• Experience with bucket refurbishments, tray repairs, and structural work on heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality in all tasks.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence (HR licence preferred).
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and police clearance.
