The Role

Aviation Projects needs an Operations Assistant to support our Head Office staff and a team of specialist consultants in delivering on our brand promise. Reporting to the Operations Lead, the Operations Assistant will support :

  • Office management including all administrative requirements
  • Procurement and purchasing
  • Arranging travel
  • Marketing and communications activities
  • Information and data collection
  • Any other office duties as reasonably requested

The role is based in our Taringa office.

About You

We're looking for someone with an eye for detail, who wants to facilitate the optimum performance of a team of highly regarded specialist consultants and operations staff in an exciting and ever-changing industry, and can thoughtfully and effectively interact with a range of stakeholders to achieve the desired business outcomes.

Mandatory knowledge and experience

  • Proven ability and experience in a business operational environment
  • Strong problem solving, research, and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • A client centred approach
  • The ability to anticipate the needs of others
  • Good organisational and multi-tasking skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting programs, and the ability to learn and use online software applications
  • The right person must be able to work in Australia
  • Desirable knowledge and experience
