At Anglicare Southern Queensland, an essential part of our Community Service comes from our strong clinical team, incorporating our Allied Health practitioners. We are currently looking for a passionate Physiotherapist to join our team on a Part-time contract working 48 hours per fortnight to support our older clients to live happier, healthier lives.

Based at our Caboolture office, you will be responsible for quality clinical physiotherapy service, specialist advice, education, and support.

About the role

The overall purpose of the Physiotherapist is to provide quality clinical physiotherapy service to our clients and actively participate in the Anglicare Southern Queensland allied health program to promote an integrated quality service to clients along the continuum of care within Anglicare. Physiotherapists are responsible for providing highly specialist advice, education, and support to clients, carers, and other health professionals within and external to the multidisciplinary team.

Skills and Experience

  • Client assessments and plans to encourage self-care and independence
  • Implementation and review of personal client Physiotherapy services, and setting achievable goals
  • Knowledge of aquatic physiotherapy and other contemporary and varied therapies (would be advantageous but not essential)
  • Active listening and robust communication skills, confident engagement with a variety of people
  • Strong prioritisation and time management skills, and the ability to work productively within deadlines
  • Degree in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration
  • First Aid Certificate with CPR
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • National Police Clearance
