Your New Role

This role is ideal for a motivated healthcare researcher with skills in mixed-methods research, stakeholder engagement, and research translation. You'll contribute to the PULSE project (Provider education in using strategies for exercise promotion in MS), aiming to help healthcare professionals better support people with multiple sclerosis (MS) to adopt and sustain exercise behaviour.

You will contribute to the research effort of the Future Health Institute at Murdoch University, focussing on translating evidence into practice using implementation science and behaviour change principles. You'll work with a world-class team of researchers and clinicians from leading Australian and international institutions, with funding from

MS Australia

Your Key responsibilities will include

  • Assist with literature reviews, stakeholder discussions, and the development and evaluation of strategies to promote exercise in MS care.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, prepare clear reports and presentations, and collaborate with postgraduate students.
  • Build a strong research profile and contribute to the College and University community.
  • This role requires a commencement date of April 2025 until December 2028.

    This Fixed Term (April 2025 to December 2028) | Part time (15 hours per week) attracts a remuneration of Academic Level A $76K - $103K (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

  • Selection Criteria :

  • Postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g. public health, nursing, allied health, or psychology).
  • Experience with qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research.
  • Strong skills in record keeping, budgets, stakeholder engagement, and ethics processes.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise, and meet deadlines independently or in teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
