Job description

Wood is recruiting for a Graduate Health & Safety Advisor to join a vibrant early careers cohort in our Melbourne office.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Knowledge, skills and experience :

  • Demonstrate balance of industrial experience at relevant level and position
  • Intellectually capable, can substantiate the ability to apply theory in a particular context
  • Professional demeanour, interpersonal skills
  • Able to demonstrate team working skills
  • Enthusiastic, conscientious and keen to learn
  • Flexible with a can-do attitude
  • Mobile and willing to spend time away from office location as and when operation requires

  • Identifies the primary task in each team situation and maintains clear focus to achieve results
  • Demonstrates sound, fact-based decision making, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients and contractors to help achieve goals
  • Understand changing trends and developments, responds to client issues and organisational capabilities and to develop the optimal responses as directed by the HSE Manager
