Job description

Talent Focus is seeking an experienced and motivated Field Service Technician to join a global leader in manufacturing heavy construction and mining equipment. Key Responsibilities :

  • Workshop and Field Service Work.
  • Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance to OEM standards.
  • Provide after-sales support, including warranty repairs and claims.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all paperwork and service reports.
  • Assist with various technical aspects as required.

    • Skills & Experience :

  • Mechanical field trade qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Must be a Cert 3 Plant Mechanic
  • Experience with Elevated Work Platforms (EWP) and mining equipment highly regarded.
  • Strong fault diagnostics and software knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
  • Flexibility to work across different projects and adapt to various work environments.
  • Forklift license (desirable).
  • Valid driver’s license (essential).
  • Permanent work rights in Australia with no restrictions.
  • Willingness to travel interstate when required.
