The Role
Reporting into the CFO, the Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing and managing the communications and marketing activities across the organisation. This role drives engagement and awareness through media, digital, social and internal channels, shaping compelling stories that highlight the impact of the work that they do.
You will also :
Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies that boost engagement and brand awarenessLead campaigns across programs, events and initiativesOversee content and brand management across digital, print, social media, website and internal platformsStrengthen PR and media partnerships, coordinate press releases and secure coverage to enhance organisational presenceBuild strong relationships with stakeholders across the VET sector, education, government and partner organisationsManage budgets and report on campaign performance to guide executive decisionsMentor the Marketing and Communications Lead and oversee digital content and brand executionWrite tailored communications for executives, board members, volunteers and partners, including proposals, briefs and spokesperson notesProduce compelling presentations, newsletters, case studies and impact stories that showcase successWhat do I need to be succeed?
You’re a strategic storyteller who brings creativity, initiative and heart to everything you do. You thrive in fast‑paced environments, love bringing ideas to life and know how to connect with diverse audiences.
Proven experience in a communications / marketing / public relations / brand management roleSkilled in delivering digital, social and print campaigns that make an impactA natural communicator with exceptional writing skills and a strong storytelling voiceConfident building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levelsTech‑savvy and comfortable using modern tools, including AI platforms, to work smarter and faster!A creative and innovative thinker who enjoys finding fresh ideas and practical solutionsExperience within the not-for‑profit, vocational education or events sectors is highly regarded, but not essentialIf you feel you have what it takes, please apply now.
