About the Opportunity

As a Chef you will provide quality food services to residents and provide kitchen and food preparation support to our Head Chef.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Taking direction from the Head Chef
• Ensure delicious well-balanced and nutritional meals are planned prepared and presented to meet the needs of our residents
• Assist with general food preparation kitchen duties and stock control
• Purchase and order stock and equipment
• Ensuring all food is prepared cooked and served in accordance with legislation

About You

To be successful youll need:

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
• Experience in a commercial kitchen within aged care/healthcare
• Bulk cooking experience highly desirable
• Experience with texture modified food advantageous
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents families and co-workers
