Job description

Our client is seeking a customer-focused Assistance Service Manager to join their dynamic team in Brisbane, QLD. Managing, motivating and leading a team of Service Advisors to ensure smooth communication from the workshop to the customer.

Key Responsibilities Customer  Satisfaction & Service Delivery -

  • First point of contact for customer complaints : Resolve any concerns promptly to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure efficient and courteous customer reception : Provide a welcoming environment for all customers.
  • Follow-up management : Ensure Service Advisors follow up with customers promptly and effectively for the best service experience.

Service Department Operations -

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Service Department, ensuring smooth coordination between the reception area, workshop, and parts departments.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty processes, maintaining the highest industry standards.
  • Assist in managing the workshop and parts departments, ensuring efficient operations, timely repairs, and service delivery.
  • Team Leadership & Motivation -

  • Lead and motivate a team of Service Advisors : Drive performance, helping them achieve sales and service objectives.
  • Ensure optimal capacity operation : Control costs, set service goals, and build positive relationships to meet and exceed targets.
  • Support the Service Manager in the smooth running of all departmental operations, ensuring a high level of service and customer satisfaction.
  • Sales & Profit Objectives -

  • Meet service sales and profit goals by focusing on efficiency, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
  • Build strong relationships with both customers and employees, fostering loyalty and long-term business growth.
  • Skills & Experience -

  • At least 1-Year of relevant employment experience is required as a Service Advisor or in a senior position within an automotive dealership.
  • Strong business development skills and a proven track record of driving service department performance.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) for effective interaction with customers and team members.
  • Sound PC skills and familiarity with industry-specific software systems.
  • Technical knowledge : Not necessary to be a qualified technician but a strong understanding of automotive processes is preferred.
  • Salary rate will be $65,000 - $75,000 per annum + superannuation depending on experience.
